SAS’s range of modular standard fixturing systems includes:-
- Standard base plate with an array of tapped holes
- Front apron at 90 degree to enable vertical support & clamping
- Straight edges for part alignment and datum stops
- Adjustable hard stops to facilitate re-squaring and constant datum points
- Adjustable support pillars that also accommodate additional clamps
- Horizontal Vee blocks to secure Hollow bar, tube and shaft
- Angle plates to establish perpendicular alignment and squareness
- Powder coated treatment of all non-contact faces
This system will assist in fabrication of multiple parts and/or part preparation for secondary operation procedures, which may include some of the following:-
- Flange preparation & fabrication
- Miter joining of plates
- Preliminary tack welds for production parts
